Getting Acquainted with the Management and Rehabilitation Design of Urban Road Pavements

The Municipal Infrastructure Support Agent (MISA) in partnership with SAICE Professional Development & Projects (SAICE-PDP), invites you to attend this 2-day course to assist you with the management and rehabilitation design of urban road pavements.

Attend this course and:

  • Learn about road pavement deterioration and pavement life cycles
  • Refresh your knowledge of road pavement materials and pavement design basics
  • Understand how to optimally manage urban road pavements
  • Learn about road pavement rehabilitation design processes and principles
  • Master the DCP method for pavement rehabilitation design
  • Understand the different management and rehabilitation design requirements of urban road pavements vis-à-vis those of rural and inter-urban roads

The course helps municipal attendees to apply their theoretical training in practice. It is therefore recommended for::

  • Municipal engineers, technologists and technicians
  • Staff involved in the management and rehabilitation design of urban road pavements
  • Staff employed in local government and involved in, or about to become involved in the field
  • Experienced personnel looking for a refresher in the management and rehabilitation design of urban road pavements

CPD

This course is accredited with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) and carries two CPD credits.

Please note the following requirements for ONLINE courses:

  • Delegates are responsible to ensure that they have sufficient data to cover the full duration of the online course.
  • According to the ECSA requirements for online training, a compulsory online assessment must be completed.
  • The pass mark for the test is 75%.
