A half-day for Mentors and Supervisors to show you how to support your candidates in their endeavours to register as engineering professionals.
 
Understanding the ECSA reporting requirements and the outcomes relating to engineering problem solving, engineering management and taking responsibility is critical for mentors and supervisors to ensure that candidates gain appropriate experience.
 
Attend this course and learn about:
  • The outcomes, range, complexity of work and level of responsibility required for registration
  • The competencies that your candidates must develop for registration
  • Your roles and responsibilities as a mentor, supervisor or coach
  • The size and structuring of the submission
  • Tips and techniques for success
  • Referee requirements
  • The review and interview process

  • Line managers, Supervisors and Mentors

CPD

This course is accredited with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) and carries 0,5 CPD credit.

Please note the following requirements for online courses:

  • Delegates are responsible to ensure that they have sufficient data to cover the full duration of the online course.
  • According to the ECSA requirements for online training, a compulsory online assessment must be completed.
  • The pass mark for the test is 75%.
