A two-day course to help understand and assess geosynthetics materials and design soil reinforcement structures (walls, steep slopes, embankments and pavement structure).

Attend this course and learn about:

• Geosynthetics material for soil reinforcement
• Soil reinforcement principles
• Design of walls and steep slopes
• Design of embankments (soft soil, piles, and sinkholes)
• Design of pavement structure

The course is aimed at (but not limited to):

• Staff working in the industry with very little experience or who are about to become involved in designing of soil reinforcement structures
• Candidate engineers, technologist and technicians
• Experienced personnel looking for a refresher course in geosynthetics in soil reinforcement

CPD

This course is accredited with ECSA (Engineering Council of South Africa) and carries two CPD credits.

Please note the following requirements for online courses:

• Delegates are responsible to ensure that they have sufficient data to cover the full duration of the online course.
• According to the ECSA requirements for online training, a compulsory online assessment must be completed.
• The pass mark for the test is 75%.
